Happy Halloween!

Unfortunately with our Treasure Hunt and Party at the end of the day we did not get to fill in our Agendas!!! I know...crazy! Luckily there is not any homework due on Monday so everything is going to be alright. I will post the student numbers for Les Nouvelles in case any of you read it and can pass it on to your children.

As well John Stubbs is collecting any extra warm clothing and/or sleeping bags (stuff to keep warm in winter) to be redistributed throughout our local community to those less fortunate. If you have any such items that would be wonderful!

Thrifty Cards are now available for parents to pick up at both the Dances this week as well as in the Safe Arrival Office in the morning.

One last thought that just occurred to me....Have you all been in to check out the stool our class painted in the main foyer? It is amazing! If you get the chance come in and check it out and if you're really inspired you could even make a bid:)

  • For parents who are interested in a presentation (Shake Hands With a Canadian Hero: LGenreal Roméo Dallaire) a Purple handout has been given to students for you to fill out. Presentation takes place on Monday, October 6th at 10am.
  • Letter home from Mr. Royle.

On a sidenote: Classroom expectations are the same with Mr. Royle as they are with Mlle Lindberg and myself. Today I was extremely disappointed when I got back from my FSL class to hear from Mr. Royle that the behaviour displayed during his hour with them was FAR from desirable. Please check your child's agenda as Mr. Royle has written notes home to students whose behaviour was particularly poor.
